Kali went to be with Jesus yesterday afternoon.....please be praying for her family and my sweet sister. I am at a loss for words. We will miss her so very much!!

We love so many of this country's precious children, and by the grace of God we were given the incredible gift of adopting one of them! Her name is Eliana Hope Wheeler...and this is her story (along with our journey on the long road called adoption)! The story doesn't end here....God is calling us to more. I feel for your sister. I lost my best friend in a car accident also. You just don't expect it when you are so young. Just remember she is better now, we hurt but she is in paradise.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I am praying for Kali's family and your sister.

i can't really find words right now, but i feel like i'm with you guys in this. one of my best friends died in a car accident our senior yr. of high school, so i can say that i understand the depth of grief but joy at the same time. this was the girl that led me to the Lord. i can't wait to see her again, just like i know you can't wait to see kali again. thank God He conquered death. He will get you through this, one day at a time. i promise.
I am so sorry. My heart just aches for the family and all of Kali's friends. It is hard to not question...why did God seem to bring her back and then take her again? Only He knows. I do trust in Him with ALL my heart and lean not on MY own understanding. In this case, I cannot lean on my own understanding because I just cannot comprehend. But I do know that God is right there and knows the pain and sorrow. May He bring comfort and peace to Kali's friends and family.

Your family has really been through the fire lately. I know that it is through fire that we are refined to be more like Christ but it does not make it any easier. Looking back it was through those fires that Christ revealed himself to me in a way I had never seen Him before. I pray that you and your family will find comfort and peace knowing that God wants to reveal himself to you during this difficult time. He is holding tightly to each of you and will not let go. May you rest in His loving arms that are always ready to receive you.
I am heartbroken for your sister. I cannot imagine losing my best friend so suddenly. However, I am REJOICING to The Lord for Kali. How amazing that she is sitting up there with JESUS right now! She absolutely could NOT be in a better place. I am happy that she is 100% joyful at this moment, but for those she left behind, my heart and prayers go out.
