STILL NOTHING......KEEP PRAYING!

Be praying for immigration approval for us. We can't get any answers. The human side of me is really anxious and sad. But, I do know the Lord knows ALL....it is hard to keep perspective sometimes. Pray for our sweet Eliana....and for our other little love, Xiomara. What a journey we are on....sometimes it feels like a dream. I will let you all know when we hear something.

The Ortega Law was passed on December the 11th. We are still waiting on answers there too....they said that they will grandfather pending adoptions. Who is actually considered a "pending" adoption....are we?? PLEASE LORD LET US BE PENDING!!!!

Keep spreading the word about elliedub.com!!! WEAR YOUR T-SHIRTS AND PRAY FOR THE KIDS IN GUATEMALA (and all over the world)!!

Love you all,
Lindsey

We are praying for you and have been since Oct. when we first heard about your case on another blog!! Thank you for praying for us too! I know the Lord has us all in the palm of His hand!! It is such a crazy time in Guat adoptions that I find myself asking God, "Why now?", but I know that His timing is perfect and it will all fit into His amazing plan!!

I pray that you are grandfathered in and that we all get our babies home!! Eliana is beautiful!! We continue to pray for Xiomara too!!

Elliedub is a really great idea and I am going to order soon! Congrats on the getting it up and running!! I am sure it was a lot of work!!

Praying,
Gretchen

Do you have your Power of Attorney registered in Guatemala? Do you need your immigration approval for that? I don't remember.

This is what our agency said, "The new law (3735) was passed as drafted and will become effective on December 31st. All of the old cases will need to be registered with the new Central Authority by January 30th in order to continue under the current laws."

So, hopefully that means you have until Jan 30 for your POA???? Or at least Dec 31st???

The T-shirts are GREAT by the way!!!! We can't wait to give them out for Christmas!! And, Please keep the shipping money!

Thank you so much for your kind words. As much as it is worth you are so right about the pain. Hang in there girl! We only need to believe in his plan...we may questions it, but we must believe he is doing what is right. I am so happy to have a new friend in our journey. I will pray for your hearts today and for your little girls.

While reading your blog update this morning, God brought a OLD SONG to mind that we sang in church when I was a kid.

"God will make a way, where there seems to be no way. He works in ways we cannot see. He will make a way for me. He will be my guide. Hold me closely to His side. With love and strength for each new day. He will make a way."

This song really fits what you, Chris and your families are going through right now. GOD is going to bring you through this.

I am looking for my elliedub t-shirt any day now. Can't wait to wear it proudly!!!
Love you guys and hope to see you both soon!!!

Lindsey,
I don't really "know" you, but the Lord woke me up last night to pray specifically for you...... I was in a deep sleep, and He said to pray for the Wheelers. You know I did.....I prayed and prayed and prayed! He actually showed me your face instead of your name....I've visited a couple of times, but I will be checking and praying daily now.
Much love!

Hey guys. I just found your blog from a friend at church and have been entrenched. Thank you for sharing your story.
We adopted our son Losiah from Seoul Korea last November and do not remember what it was like to not have him.
You can check our story out here.

So God speed to you. I bought a shirt tonight and will gladly sport it on the streets of Atlanta when I get it.
