We are ALL sad!!

Eliana is sad that we have still heard NOTHING from immigration!!

Keep praying.....we have one week until our documents have to be to Guatemala!

Love,
Lindsey

* We have gotten our congressmen and senators involved, but Memphis is not telling them anything either! They are saying they are short on staff. The one good thing is that we DO have our POA....we flew to Guatemala a month and a half ago to take care of that detail.

Hey Chris and Lindsey,

I just went through my adoption notes and found a contact at then-INS who helped us ramrod Grace's stuff through very quickly. We cleared in like days from when it arrived on their desk. Have you spoken to anyone live there?

I'm on my way to Max's piano recital and will be out of pocket until about 3:30, but call me thereafter. I don't want to post the info on your blog, as it's not public info and would be imprudent to post on a blog.

We were at a production of the "Messiah" last night, and when the chorus got to the Psalm 24:7-10 song, I thought of you all and prayed for your 171 to come in!

Lindsey,
We had to deal with Memphis as well, so I understand your frustration. It did not take as long as they said it might take, and the dates on the website were completely incorrect. I am praying for good news for you this Monday.
Blessings~

Are you waiting on your I-171-H? That was a huge struggle for us as well, at last we found out that they LOST or paperwork! Keep trying and don't stop calling and e-mailing. Also if you can think of ANYONE who has a conection to your senator or congressman try to get them to connect you, it is more personal then. Good luck and blessings, we will be praying!

Wow. Amazing stuff. I just found your blog and have been reading about the adoption. My wife and I are also asking Jesus to allow us to be the parents of a child (maybe Ethiopia). We are in the early stages of the process. I pray that documents are processed correctly and quickly for your family.
