The National Day of Prayer for the Orphans of Guatemala.....

Many of you already know about all of the turbulence going on in PGN right now. ALL ADOPTIONS ARE SUSPENDED FOR AT LEAST ONE MONTH!! Things are getting messy. There are so, so many unanswered questions right now. WE HAVE TO PRAY!!!!My friend at JuJu's Crew is calling for a day of prayer (and fasting) for all of the children in Guatemala right now....for those that are stuck in PGN and for the thousands that are without families. PLEASE VISIT HER BLOG to read more!!

More importantly, take today to pray for these kiddos. My heart literally breaks thinking about the kids that didn't make it through the old adoption system. Lord, please protect their little lives. Bring people to love on them. Please bring our babies through PGN quickly....we need a miracle.

Love you all,
Lindsey

*These pics are some of the children that are waiting to come home!!*

We are praying today and put the request on our blog also. How can any one look at the top picture of Eliana with those eyes and not want to move Heaven and earth to bring her home.

Our family will pray for your family and all the others, the only thing God can't do is fail.

Speaking God's Word daily over your Eliana and all the children waiting to come home and waiting to have homes. ONe thing I do know, all the power is in HIS WORD, all we have to do is speak it and believe it and He promises that it will come to pass. My hurts for you, I have moments of sadness in all our joy because I know of so many waiting families and I truly care for each one. God is greater my friend, keep your eyes on Him, blessings, Susie

I will pray for the ones left behind and those who are caught up in this mess that they will come home to their forever families. We must also pray for the birth mothers who will have to go through another interview. We should pray that they will be treated with respect and dignity and hopes that they will get some type of emotional support. Not only is this craziness hurting the children, adopted families but it is hurting the birth mothers as well. May our Lord hear our cries and our prayers.

One more thing...your baby girl is so adorable just like her Mommy and Daddy. You know this difficult journey of brining our children home is a beautiful gift from God. Jesus suffering was the greatest gift and He thought about us and loved us so much that He continued to trust God and moved forward. That is what we must do. This sufffering for longing for our babies is what I call the most greatest gift God has given to us. We should continue to trust, hope and get up when we are knocked off our feet, because God has rewarded us to love one of His most precious gifts, a child.

God Bless you and all who are in this difficult but amazing journey.

Praying today for all these children who need to come home, still need to find families, and especially the older ones who may feel hopeless, praying that God's hand will continue to be on each one of them. Also praying that HE will touch the hearts of those in charge of these adoptions and that things will be made right very soon!

Proverbs 21:1
The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.
