Eliana's first full week in America!!

One view of Eliana Hope Wheeler's Room

I wanted the room to feel a little bit like Antigua.

Here are a few treasures from Antigua.

We can't wait for the day she actually LIKES her bed!

This was my 4th year anniversary gift from Chris.....this was the first time I saw Eliana!!

Eliana LOVES Polly.......I'm not sure Polly feels the same way yet.

Her new obsession is pumpkins....she loves to try and take bites out of them.

Eliana loves her Kay-Kay!

We had a blast at the pumpkin patch!

This was Eliana's first day at the church nursery! She had a blast.

This is a view of us watching her play in the nursery. Today was her second time at the church nursery......and she bit a little girl!! YIKES!!! It is not like her to bite.....so I blamed it on the kids in Guatemala that bit her non-stop. :-)

Tomorrow Eliana and I are driving to Huntsville to visit our Casa 36 friends from Guatemala....Kelsey flew in to visit all of the moms and babies. We are so excited to see Melodie, Fern, Rosa, Staci, Andrew, and Kelsey!! We will miss you Deanna and Auri!

Love you all,
Lindsey

WOW! HSV is only 20-30 min. from me. Oh. I wish Amanda and I could see you and Eliana when you come. :0( Have fun with all of your old roomies.

Glad to see Eliana adjusting well. Our little one is also fascinated by pumkins.

Be safe and have a good trip.

WOOT WOOT I get to see you tomorrow... ah so can't wait and I'm kinda interested to see if Eliana gets back for all the biting that went on this summer cause Andrew is over his stage now

LOVE the nursery. It's so warm and cozy. So cute.

Biting is a phase, believe me. She's could also be acting out a bit from the changes going on. Just reassure her you love her, and that she is home, and she'll come out of it. Our little one is on the tail end of his. Praise God!

Welcome home, everyone!

Love you, Deanna

Super cute room!!! I love it!!!

I'm glad she is doing so well in the nursery (biteing asside). Shiloh still will not stay in the nursery. I think I am going to have to stay in there for a couple of weeks until she gets used to it.

Have a great trip!

Eliana's room is BEAUTIFUL! It really reminds me of a peaceful time in Antigua! Great job! Sorry to hear that Eliana bit a little girl, perhaps the little girl won't do whatever she did to her! :)

If you don't mind me asking, where did you find all of that beautiful decor? It's gorgeous! I am decorating a room with a very similar theme and would LOVE some ideas on where to get this kind of themed decor. I am having much trouble finding it.
Eliana is a very blessed little girl, as are you both for being her parents!! Adoption is a beautiful thing :)
