I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living!
Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord!

P.S. I think she is going to be a piano player (that will make my grandmother happy)!

What a beautiful baby -- love her cheeks !!!
Woke up this morning with you on my heart!! Love you and praying!!
You would make her a piano player... just to get deeper in Gran-D's will. Don't worry...I'll find a plaque for Christmas that will top what you're trying to do! Love you sister!
Hey girl I just found your blog tonight from my friend Mel Barnett.
I am hating this for you and your family right now. I have been through the adoption route and know that emotionally it is the HARDEST thing I have ever been through.
We are now on our second adoption (1st was domestic, this is international) and it is too looking rocky at some times. We are adopting a two year old from Haiti.
Check out our sites and you can see about him ...

Lindsey,
You are never going to believe how I found your blog. Heather Wright Dillard's good friend is Katie Mohr. Heather wanted me to pray for Katie and Russ when they were going through their adoption journey. I have never met Katie, but was constantly encouraged by her amazing faith. I still check her blog to see little Eli grow. That's where I saw your picture and was so excited to see a link. You amaze me with your faith and I just cried reading your story. Joey and I have been praying so hard about adoption and I think we are going to start the process soon. Keep fighting for Xio. She is precious. Your smile is unforgettable, Lindsey. I will be praying for you.
~Kristi
