You don't know me, I came across your blog through the Mohr's. I have been following your story and wanted to tell you both what a blessing your blog is! My heart began to swell with emotions when you posted the first blog after getting to Guat recently. It is so strange to feel apart of something that you are so not a part of! :) Anyway, God is using your story in great ways. Keep your eyes on the Truth of the Word. Thanks for sharing your journey. God bless and guide you. Your family is on our hearts and in our prayers.
I am SO praying for all of you today. I know you are missing your girl so much! I am praying that you'll be back for pick up before you know it! She is a doll and so beautiful indeed, so happy! what a gift she is! Betsy
Oh, I pray for peace in your heart right now! I know it is SO hard! It brings tears to my eyes because I know that ache!! I love that picture! Hold it close!! Praying!
Okay Lindsey - STOP!!! STOP making me SAD!!! I kept checking your blog last night to see if you got in and how you were doing! This sucks! I feel like flying back to Guatemala this weekend and not leaving until I have answers and until my little girl can get on that plane with me! Maybe we should just take a 3 month nap!!! or maybe we could get those husbands to hold down the fort and let us foster in Antigua...such wishful thinkin!!!
We have only been married 6 years, but this one thing we know...we want our lives to make a difference for the Kingdom of God in the country of Guatemala. We love so many of this country's precious children, and by the grace of God we were given the incredible gift of adopting one of them! Her name is Eliana Hope Wheeler...and this is her story (along with our journey on the long road called adoption)! The story doesn't end here....God is calling us to more. Thank you for joining with us....for praying for us....and for loving these kids!! We are so grateful for each of you.
