More of the best week ever.....

This is our last family picture before we said goodbye! WE MISS HER SO MUCH!!!!

THANK YOU FRIENDS FOR SUGGESTING GERBER PUFFS!!! She absolutely loved them. She would grab fistfuls of them....and cram them in her mouth.

I had to show you the cutest girl in the cutest swimsuit!!! Is she not a doll baby?! She liked the water for about 2.2 seconds....then she hated it.

This picture is for you, Katie Mohr!! You would have laughed your head off....I carried on an empty "Pollo Campero" box just for you (and it helped me fit in). The pilot actually got on the speaker and told all of us to put our Pollo Campero boxes below our seats (instead of the overhead bins) because they've had problems with them leaking! That is something you don't hear a pilot say very often.

Thank you so much for your support, prayers and encouraging words!!!!!! It has been so overwhelming (in a good way). We so need this community right now. We love you all.

Love,
Lindsey

the question is WHY was the pollo campero box empty.. that's a shame. I needed you to bring back a huge box with like... 12 pieces or something.

I just looked through all of your posts from your time with your precious daughter. It looks like you guys had a great time and did some bonding - cute family! I am praying for you tonight. I know your heart is aching. Prayers going up with your family's name on them!

Peace and Hugs,

I can't tell you how often I've thought about y'all over the last week and how incredibily sad I am tonight because you had to return home without her. It's so hard and my heart aches for anyone that has to be in this situation. But...there's always a but. Your process is moving and soon, very soon...you'll be back and you won't have to leave her again. Praying for your strength and peace as you wait out the rest of this time.

That's funny about the Pollo Campero boxes. I actually wondered why people brought them on the plane and put them in the overhead bins.

Glad she loved the puffs!!

We have many pictures off the balcony of our room just like yours. I remember singing songs about how much Jesus loved him in Jadon's ear just before I gave him back to his foster family.

That picture of your family on the balcony is just beautiful!

I hope and pray you have an okay day today.

Glad you're back. We're just another Guat. AF that can't wait to see Eliana home. By the way, our daughter's name is spelled Elliana--wonder if they're pronounced the same?

Blessings, Crista

Lindsey,

I have been reading your blog for awhile now and thought that I would touch base with you. My husband and I are in process(currently KO'd from PGN) for our daughter who is almost 7 mths. We are going on a visit trip May 11-18. I have enjoyed reading your adoption story and thought that I would share ours.

Praying this separation is short! I love the pics and agree she is so cute!

LOL about the pollo campero box! I am not a fried chix fan but I wanted to go there just because it is what we get asked about by people from Guat when we run into them. :)

My boys can't wait to go back to Guatemala to eat Pollo Campero again! We had an awesome Pollo Campero picnic in our hotel room on the night before we left. Glad nothing leaked onto us on the plane, though!
