Please quit growing up without us!

We miss you so much baby girl! Last night, Chris and I got this new picture of her......of course we think she is precious. But, it was the first time I really felt deep sadness that I am not with her. I am watching her grow older through a few pictures. I'm sure a lot of you have or are feeling this same way. I know that she is safe and loved......but I want her to be in Franklin, TN with us. Lord, please make the Guatemalan process go by so quickly.

Keep praying, and thank you so much for your constant encouragement!!! We love you all so much.

I totally understand how you feel! We got some pictures of Shiloh this week, and while I loved seeing them and getting to see her face, they also broke my heart.

It is so hard! I remember the first few months of update pictures I got she just looked all baby and it was just exciting to get them. Then one month we got our update photos and my heart just stopped because all the sudden she was looking like less of a little baby and more like a beautiful little girl. It makes my heart ache. Praying for you all. She is precious and so beautiful!

We are praying for a super quick
adoption process from here on in!
If God can do it for Courtney and
Kevin and Ava Grace...then He can
certainly do it for you and Chris and Eliana! It is true about the eyebrows, how fun! When Chris was little his eyebrows would get red
when he was drinking after playing and getting really thirsty, I wonder if hers do also? Be encouraged, God is at work on your
We Love You, Mary Helen and John

She is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!! And I see the Chris eyebrows on her. It is kind of unreal sometimes...if you look at earlier pictures of Russ and Eliot together...they look alike. So,fun!!!

Lord we pray right now for a quick process from here on out. AMEN

I love you guys and will try to call one or both of you sometime before the weekend is over.

I feel your pain deep within my heart, because that is where my pain sits too. I am so sorry. It is a difficult thing to understand. Pray for wisdom and strength. I do know this, and that is that God is with you and through him all things are possible. He will give us the victory! I will continue to pray for your little angel, please keep praying for Joseph.

I SOOO know that feeling. You want to see her grow because that means she is loved and healthy... but at the same time it creates a longing and emptiness in you.

You are a step closer with that 171... come on system.

BTW... where are you on the Guate side of things?(meaning in the process)

Sending you a big, big hug...I know it is so bittersweet getting the pics. We're in a different boat with having to let go of a foster baby and watch her grow without us, but the ache seems the same. Much love to you both, the Kroekers

Sweet Lindsey,

Would you please email this newest
picture to me? I double clicked on
the pic and got a jumbo Eliana
closeup and I want to be able to
print her out so we can put her new pictures in several places. I am so grateful for the great care her foster family is taking of her!
She looks so peaceful and pleased.

Loving you, Mary Helen

I've been keeping up with your blog from afar and you continue to stay in my prayers. I caught the Today show feature about other Guatemalan adoptions this morning and thought of you. Hopefully the situation will get the attention and service it deserves to improve things for sometimes hurting, but always patient and loving parents like you two.

I know just what you mean. As much as I love getting updates, I hate seeing my baby getting older without me.
