A Glimpse of Things to Come....EllieDub!!

I finally get to post something fun!! A few of you know that we are doing this....but probably most of you don't. Chris, Amelia and Scott Moore and I are beginning a new company to raise orphan awareness and help families financially with the costs of adoptions. Our site is called EllieDub!

Our vision is to create ec0-friendly shirts that are super cool....this particular design will be on a vintage style t-shirt. We want to take elements from each adoptive country and incorporate those themes into the t-shirts....plus each shirt will have a quote written in the specific language!

Our web-site will be up and running (cross your fingers) by November the 18th. Chris and I are going to be the guinea pigs for our own project....and we are beyond excited! We will keep you posted!! This is one of our AWESOME Guatemalan guy t-shirts.

Love you all, Lindsey

Love it, love it, love it! what a great idea! And as for the toddler/infant shirts, I saw one a long time ago that said, "Born in Africa" or some sort of lingo and had the map of Africa made out of an african fabric on it. Very cute on those little boys. just a thought.

Lindsey, This is really random but I'm pretty sure I know you. Amber Moen added Drew as a friend on Facebook today and I was looking at her profile tonight and your comment on her wall caught my eye...not because I recognized your name but because you are adopting from Guatemala. So I went to your blog and sat there and stared at the screen because you looked so stinking familiar. Then it hit me that we were in Sarah Richmond's wedding together. I haven't had a chance to read much about your adoption story but I will do that tonight. I'll be praying for you guys as things in Guatemala are so up in the air and scary right now. Our blog site is www.adventuresinadoption.blogspot.com and my email is bekahmoser@gmail.com if you want to get in touch with me. The Lord IS mighty in battle and our adoption has been quite the battle as it looks like yours has been as well. It was great to see your face on your blog and your little girl is precious. How old is she? I guess I might find out by reading. Off to read...

Lindsey--Just finished reading your blog. Wow, girl. We will be on our knees before the Lord for your family. You have walked a hard, hard road. We have pursued Eloisa's adoption for 17 months but we have not in any way experienced the uncertainties that you have been asked to face. Lord, bring your precious daughter, Xio, into Chris and Lindsey's home and allow them to love her, raise her, cherish her, kiss her. The waiting seems unbearable most of the time and I understand the ache to hold your daughter close and rock her to sleep and pray over her. Praying with you...

Okay, last comment, I promise! Drew said he wants that shirt and to let him know when they are available.

Hi Lindsey,
I just came from jajabs blog and wanted to let you know I will be praying for your case. We too have been in a nightmare adoption for almost 3 years. Our kids are now going through an abandonment, and we honestly have very little hope of them coming home.

Please know you have the prayers of many today. I'm so sorry for the blows you've been dealt.
