I can't wait to feed Eliana....

My middle sister Lauren and I were so hoping to go and see Eliana this weekend! I have been praying for $1000 to fall out of the sky to pay for plane tickets, but it hasn't happened. I have felt pretty depressed over the last week....but today I had a small fun thing happen. I am trying to celebrate the small things....so here it is. The Skip Hop Palette Plate got delivered to the store I work at. Both of the owners and I got them for our little girls. I can't wait to cut up little bananas, veggies and turkey bites for sweet girl. Don't you think it is cute (and the little cups are microwavable)?!!!

Love you all,
Lindsey

adorable! :) love it...

i was hoping for $1000 to fall out of the sky to help with our adoption, too... and then i learned about pres.bush sending money... did you know married couples will receive checks for $1200 in the spring? i hope it's true... maybe that will help?

you're in our prayers...

Well here I go- girl I'm just going to type like I'm talking to you, so I hope this is "readable". I am absolutely heart sick for you (literally)- I'm so ready for that precious baby to be home with you. I have been keeping up with the blog since the first of Dec. and have felt so inadequet to leave a message. I don't have any wonderful quotes or verses (you guys have said them all)- Don't quit being honest with God (no matter what the emotion, he will still hold and comfort you). When the enemy comes to take your peace I pray for strength. Just remember that it is in our weekness that he can (and is) that strength. So I guess this is more of a written payer (what I am specifically praying for you both) - that you both stay assured that God meets us where we are (sad, happy, scared, mad, angry, peaceful) -that God gives you and Chris both a tangible peace that you can hold and feel, as if he carrying you through these times- and that he blesses you as new parents. What a celebration it will be, she is coming- I know it! -and I will be excited for you over the small things like that adorable food tray. Don't let anyone steal your joy from the small things- it is all wonderful and fun (even the messy finger foods stage)! You will cherish these moments even more and I know you WILL experience them! I have experienced first hand the love you are feeling and I can't imagine the heartache- I'm praying for you, with you, about you - "Lord bring precious Eliana home and bring Chris and Lindsey comfort beyond words until she gets here-Amen"
Much Love,

I love the adorable little plate! VERY fun!

Celebrating the little things is very important in this process! I organized my daughter's room yesterday, and that is my celebration for now. I am one step closer to being ready for her homecoming!! Of course, I would be ready immediately if that were to happen! ;)

Praying for you!

Lindsey, I love that little plate...where did you get it? I might need to get one for Eliot.

I am praying that the money would come in and that it would end up being more than you need...you know that is the way God works.

I Love You!!!

Too funny...I just checked out your blog a couple hours ago. I found it through either Ancelet's or Beeler's...not sure which one because I was on both today. I need to read back further on your blog to find out how long you've been waiting. I'm guessing it would put my 3 plus months to shame. Thanks for expressing your support and understanding. Love the plate, by the way!

Love, Love the plate. As a little girl I use to think money grew on trees. Oh, how I wish that was true... I would pick a thousand for you.

Amazing! Bethany just called and shared the good news. We really do want to help get that gal in your arms! What's the fastest way to get the funds to you?
When we say we love you....we really do and can't wait to hear more about what God is doing in your lives!

I have been wishing for $1000 to fall out of the sky too, and a little extra PTO for my husband would be helpful too! I miss Shiloh so much!

I love the plate! So cute and colorful! I am sure Eliana will have fun meal times with a plate like that!
