Some of the people and things that I love....Happy Valentine's Day!

Much needed support!

The last 3 weeks have been extremely hard on me emotionally. I have felt so low....just super exhausted in every way. I just wanted to thank my mom and sisters for always being such a constant support to me. I couldn't do this without y'all!! I love you each so much. I can't wait until you get to meet and hold your granddaughter and niece!! I love you.

I really think we have the happiest girl in the world! Look are her....she is beaming in every picture. But, once again, I am cracking up at her headband (that probably would fit my head)! We knew the moment we met her that she was a Mayan diva....like her momma (clothes are kind of my weakness)!! One of my blogger friends gave me an awesome suggestion....I am going to buy Eliana one of Tracy's Guatemala necklaces to give to her when she is old enough to wear it.

JUNK POSSE......THE BIG SURPRISE!!!!!

I AM SO, SO EXCITED TO FINALLY TELL Y'ALL ABOUT THE MOST AMAZING WOMAN.....Tracy from Junk Posse (the name of her incredible jewelry line)!!!! Tracy has the most amazing heart. In her own words.....here is why she does what she does:

"My name "Junk Posse" comes from the items I love to collect, create, and restore(the junk) and the amazing people, friends, and family who inspire me (my posse)-My husband, who always encourages me to be who I am and continue to learn what I love, my mom who is an artist and never said no when I wanted to sew, cook, or create something, and last but not least, the estyians, who on a daily basis blow me away with their talents."

About one month ago I found Tracy's Etsy site on another fellow blogger's site. I fell in love with her Heart for Africa necklace. She started creating necklaces to help raise money for her daughter and son-in-laws African adoption!! So, I called to see if she could create a Guatemalan necklace. NOT ONLY DID SHE SAY "YES", SHE TOLD ME SHE WANTED TO CREATE AN ENTIRE LINE OF GUATEMALAN GEMS.....AND IT WOULD BE A FUNDRAISER FOR CHRIS AND ME!!!!! WHAT???????? SHE IS AMAZING!!!!!! Literally, I was blown away. She told me that the Lord had put us on her heart.

So, without further ado (the descriptions are in her own words).....


I created this necklace in honor of all the Women that have Guatemalan Children in their Hearts. This fine silver pendant hangs uniquely From a Beautiful 18 inch Sterling Silver chain & clasp. I have added a cubic zirconia gem in the center of the Flower.

A big day for a little girl!

I'm sitting at a coffee shop working on upcoming talks I'll be giving and right now all I can think about is the Birthday Girl! (So I had to make a quick shout out) Today is her 7 Month "Bir-Day." Happy Day to ya baby girl! I miss you and I can't wait till you can read how much has already been written about your precious little life! You've got no idea how many people are praying for you! And get ready...because when you come home the paparazzi are going to be on high alert! You thought America went crazy when the Beckhams came over...you ain't seen nothing yet!

Central Authority

Hip Hip Hooray!!! We were told yesterday that Eliana is now registered with Central Authority. We have a long road ahead.....but I am excited for this glimmer of hope!!

Thank you Lord for protecting Chris!!!

Tonight, Chris was headed to a Super Bowl party at the church.....and I got a call from him soon after he left. He was very shaken up! A deer had walked out into the road. He tried not to hit it and slammed into a huge brick and stone mailbox (while hitting the deer too). His car is a crazy messed up.....BUT I DON'T CARE!!! The phone call freaked me out. All I could do was hit my knees and thank the Lord for protecting him. He could have been seriously hurt.....and the Lord had mercy on us. The Lord used the huge mailbox to prevent Chris's car from heading into a steep ditch. Thank you Lord. It is times like tonight that remind you of what's important!!

I love you Chris! You are my best friend. I can't imagine life without you.

I thought this would make y'all laugh! Our entire community group loves LOST!! We had a party last night for the season premiere.....Chris and I were Clarie and Charlie. Scott and Amelia were Alex and Hurley! WE HAD A BLAST!!!
