Happy 4th of July....

Our first trip to Bodega (the grocery store)

Byron....the greatest driver ever (Eliana loved him....he sang to her)

Mommy and Baby Girl

Eliana loves her Kay-Kay!

Our precious roomie Kelsey....we call her the Baby Whisperer (she is incredible with the kiddos)....not to mention a great translator

My dear friend Melissa's Surprise Engagement party.....pretty sure she is going to be the most beautiful bride EVER!!

Well, I realize that I haven't posted in forever!! This transition is absolutely crazy and wonderful. I am going to share my thoughts as soon as I can take a breath....that is how full our days have been. Tonight, we were surprised by amazing fireworks. We stood on our deck and sang American-themed songs. It really made me want to cry. It is my first 4th of July with my baby girl. We miss daddy SO MUCH!!! Keep praying....we need it.

Love you all,
Lindsey

Hi Lindsey, Eliana, and Kay-Kay,

I'm so glad to see that Eliana seems to be doing better. I am so happy that we got to meet while we were in Guatemala. I will continue to pray for you, your family, and your "roomies".

Will you try to get a picture of Stacy's little boy, Andrew? He is facing backwards in the group picture you posted. :( I'd love to see him.

Stay well and be careful!

So was it MY Melissa's engagement?? If so I need to email her and find out who the lucky guy is.

Have a wonderful 4th of July. We will keep your entire family in our prayers.

OMG Lindsey. I've been out of town and unable to read your blog for a couple of weeks. I can't believe all the stuff you've been going through. I am so glad that you are in Guate with your daughter. Happy 4th of July.

Your journey to Eliana is like a movie and I think it should be one... The Fight For Eliana. My family is praying for your sweet girl in hopes you will get her home healthy soon.

THanks for the update. Your days are so busy I know it is hard to find the time.

Glad you were able to still celebrate the 4th of July. Next year you will all spend it as a family.

One hurdle at a time. Transitioning is amazing plus overwheliming all wrapped into one. Praying Eliana's little body is on the mend and needing plenty of rest so Mommy can get some too. These days may seem long now, but once you are home forever, will seem like a blink! Cheri
