Heading to the Doctor...please PRAY

Lindsey just called. Eliana's tummy trouble has gotten worse.

She's had it for two days now and it's only getting "messier" to put it mildly. We're suspicious that it could be a parasite or something yuck like that. We know Eliana feels terrible. Please pray that it's not too serious and that the pediatrician is able to diagnose her accurately. Lindsey is taking her to the Doctor as I write.

Thanks for your support.
-Chris

UPDATE: I (Lindsey) was not able to take her to the doctor....I have taken a turn for the worse. I am suspicious that we have the same thing. Just keep praying for healing for both of us. Hopefully I will have the strength to take us both to the doctor tomorrow.

Abba Father right now I lift my precious friends up to you!!! I ask right now that you would have a healing touch for Eliana's little body...I pray that you would shelter Lindsey and Chris under Your Wings. Give them both Supernatural Strength and Rest. We beg you to give the doctors wisdom. In The Mighty Name of Jesus - AMEN!!!

Lindsey & Chris, I love you both and am praying for several MIRACLES for ya'll!!!
I remember that there were a few times that Eliot was sick while Katie was down there...we all had such a helpless feeling becuase we could not be down there to help her. By God's Grace & Strength you will make it through!!!

HI I just start following your blog last night and stayed up until 11pm reading it all. I guess no new Grey's Anatomy means I'm now reading aobut other people's lives. I actually heard about your daughter on another post after she ended up in the hospital. I just got back from Antigua after 8 months there, we finally all were home together when Maya was almost 17 months old. I just wanted to say i am thinking about you all and hope that Xio can be apart of your family or have happiness in her life, that Eliana gets well soon, and that with all the tragity lately that all your friends and family stay strong. Just a note even though I have never been big on anti baterial wipes in the past I would have Chris bring some down to Antigua, you can't get them there and it is non stop illness there, its either rotovirus or some horrible lung infection with vomiting, my child is a very healthy girl and still got these pretty bad, so since Eliana has had enough sickness in her life I would feel like a person with OCD for a while and wipe everything down when you go out and quaritine when the kids are sick, its not much fun but either is having a very sick child in another country. I will keep following good luck, I was there so if you have any questions feel free to email. Leah. missmayita.blogspot.com just started this blog because I am a picture freak.

Poor Eliana (and poor you), yu must be sick with worry. Hoping she gets better ASAP.
I was wondering if it was possible you take something down for a friend of mine in Antigua? She has been fostering her daughter for almost 2 years and I want to send some things to her.
If this is possible, can you EM me SA3 @ aol.com ( no spaces!)

LORD, You are The Healer and I know that You are so in love with your daughters in Guatemala. I pray for their healing in Jesus' name!! I pray that whatever is making them sick be discovered and treated properly by the doctors. I pray that Lindsey be well enough to take them both to a doctor. Also, that everyone else in the house be well. In Jesus' name, AMEN!!

I am so so sorry you guys are sick. I am praying for you. Isabella and I got the Roto virus while I was fostering. It was NO fun for either of us, especially in a foreign country when it's kind of hard to get to a store when you're sick. I'm praying, praying!!!

Oh my, I'm praying that you find someone there that can help you. I'm so sorry you are going through this. It actually brings me back to the days after bringing our little boy home from the hospital. He had jaundice and had to be in a UV light blanket (or whatever that thing was! My memory isn't all that good of those days!) 24 hours a day and both my husband and I had a horrible case of the flu that lasted 3 days. We actually think we caught something at the hospital. And on top of that we had a extremely active and very healthy 2 year old to deal with. Believe it or not, you will look back and this time and laugh. I'm praying for you that you both get better and that you find someone to come carry some of the burden. Hang in there mommy!

Mercy! We're praying for you both! It's so scary when vital fluids are being depleted. What a crash course in motherhood you're having, sweet Linds. I pray God's PERFECT Will in in this SO difficult time.

Take comfort in His Word:

Psalm 91

1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."

3 Surely He will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence.

4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

Love you,
Lainie

Lindz,
I have been following the blog - but I haven't commented in a few days. It's so hard to be sick and take care of children. You're on my heart --- and of course Chris is too, I know he must be hurting badly just wanting to take care of you and Eliana. I'm so glad you have friend in Guatemala!!
Miss you. Love you. Get well soon.

Father God...Your Word says that if 2 or more are gathered together there You will be also. Lord, there are so many more than two gathered here in prayer for The Wheelers. We beg you to do a radical healing in Lindsey and Eliana even as I write this comment. I pray that you would not only give them healing but you would give them strength and comfort and rest. I also pray that any illness that seems to be in Guatemala would be gone in the Name of Jesus...Lord we ask that you would protect your children that are down there!!!
I also pray that you would be with Chris as he prepares to go join Lindsey and Eliana in the next few days...strengthen him and give him rest at this time.
We praise You for what you are going to do and for the amazing testimony that The Wheeler Family will have once they have Eliana home.
AMEN

Love you guys!!!
