We are going to see our baby girl at the end of March! Be praying for us as we plan....pray for cheap plane tickets....and for our hearts as we prepare. I am so excited; I can hardly stand it. 3 of our good friends are going to be going down at the same time (and we didn't even plan it that way)!!

Hi Lindsey! I read your blog all the time and wanted to share a tip in case you didn't know about it. I only recently discovered it but it saved me a ton of money when I visited and picked my daughter up. If you search via www.kayak.com it will search tons of airlines and ticket websites. It was lowest almost every time and the time it wasn't I found a slightly better airfare on Travelocity. Good luck and have a great visit!

Hi! I am a Mom of two Guatecuties. I have a few friends who are from Guatemala. Just yesterday, I was talking with one of them & he told me that he and his fmaily were going to Guatemala in April for a wedding. He told me that he had found the BEST airfare that he had ever found on United Airlines. I think he said about $350 per person. I have always paid $600 or more per ticket. Hope you can find it!

Hi! I wasn't able to make the GOG at Crossroad Baptist in Lexington, KY... but my phone was ringing off the hook when I got home that I missed a real blessing. We, too are adopting a daughter from Guat - this time and 8 year old. I will be praying for your case... it is an amazing journey. Have a wonderful visit trip! Maybe we will be there on pickup when you are visiting!
We usually fly Delta... had a bad trip on USAir... but I'm willing to do whatever we can to get our family of 5 down and 6 back home for the best price possible!!!!
Our thoughts are with you all... and I am so sad I missed GOG!!
