We just got word that Eliana's DNA test was a match! We are so excited! This is the kind of news that just makes a new Daddy's day! Hip Hip Hooray!

- We have only been married 6 years, but this one thing we know...we want our lives to make a difference for the Kingdom of God in the country of Guatemala. We love so many of this country's precious children, and by the grace of God we were given the incredible gift of adopting one of them! Her name is Eliana Hope Wheeler...and this is her story (along with our journey on the long road called adoption)! The story doesn't end here....God is calling us to more. Thank you for joining with us....for praying for us....and for loving these kids!! We are so grateful for each of you.

Congrats! Even though deep down you know it probably will be, it is still nice to get the official word. I had wondered if the test had been done yet...now, waiting for preapproval begins. :)

Awesome! I hate that you guys were so close and I didn't get a Wheeler fix. I was so sick and we left town early Sunday am. I am trying to plan a trip back to Nashville/Knoxville soon. We will definitely plan a session on Suzanne's bed- I could use that about now:)

Yeah!! You guys are moving right along!
Last year it took almost 3 months to just get the DNA authorization for our daugter. The wait is so hard sometimes. We will just keep praying for a speedy process and more importantly God's will to be done!
