Another great day.....and dinner with my new friend!

Today has been great....I guess every moment is great with our little girl! She is really doing good. She is trying to walk.....and is busy busy!!! She is ALL OVER THE PLACE!!! I think we have a wild one on our hands. She takes after her dad.

We had an awesome night tonight....we got to meet Emily and precious Samuel. She is going to be my next door neighbor in Antigua. She is amazing and is fluent in Spanish!! Chris is so jealous (he desperately wants to be fluent). It was such a gift to meet another mom who will be in the same situation. Thanks Emily for taking the time to meet up with us!

Okay, I can't remember if I told y'all this....it kind of got pushed to the side. But, Eliana got kicked out of PGN the day she got sick. :-( It was some crazy ridiculous thing (I think it always is). Our facilitator fixed it and we are back in PGN. Pray that it won't be too much longer. Honestly, I am just so thankful she is okay....it put PGN in perspective for me.....not so worried about it anymore. I just don't want her to be there for months though.

Love you all,
Lindsey

P.S. Sorry I haven't been able to visit all of your blogs....hopefully soon I will....your comments mean SO MUCH TO US!!!

Okay you look like you are having so much fun and I want to be there so bad but I am so sick thinking about leaving and flying alone, being alone...etc etc!!! Not sure I can do this!!!

Perspective... that is the word we used more than ever while "in process". You are so right.... Eliana being healthy is the most important thing, you being there is so amazing, and PGN will work itself out. You are strong and you have God, your sweet husband, an amazing family, and your arms right around that tiny angel. Everything will be okay.

I'm sorry for being ignorant here, but what's PGN? I'm glad she's back in there though, if that's what's gonna help bring her home..praying for you guys constantly (one of many people on my prayer list right now)

Just wanted to let you know that I ran into a girl whose little Guat beauty was out of PGN in 12 days! From the very beginning until the end! God can bring you out of PGN in record timing...don't get discouraged. Eliana is beautiful. Glad she's feeling better and that you are finally with her forever.

Eliana looks SO GOOD! I am so happy that she is doing so well and able to be a little social butterfly too!

Sorry about the KO, it is almost obligatory right now, it seems. So, let's get on with it, PGN MAN! Let these babies come home!

Whew!!! I was out of town when all your drama started. I am so sorry Eliana was so sick, so glad the foster mom was so on top of it, very happy that you have now made your way to Guatemala, even happier that Sweet Eliana is in your arms forever and although sad that you got a KO, very glad that you are already back in. Enjoy your time in Guatemala. Relax. Have fun. And Hug and Kiss on that sweet little girl (even if it is 4:00 in the morning) :) - welcome to mommyhood!!!!!!!!!!!!

Emily is such a wonderful person! You will love her to pieces! WE miss her in our little town and in school! I'm thrilled that you're going to be neighbors with her and Samuel. You'll love Lee Anne and Angie as well! OH, MY GOODNESS!!! I wish I could be there too!!! It won't be long and all of our sweet ones will be home. Then we'll have to get together on American soil and celebrate together! :) We're still praying for you all. God Bless!

She's SO gorgeous. She is a petite little flower, though. You can see it better when she's next to Samuel. I just love the denim overalls. CUTE CUTE CUTE!

I am sorry about the kickout. PGN does seem like it is moving quicker with those...I hope yours does! I am so glad that Eliana is doing well. Did the doctors ever figure out what was wrong? I will gladly trade wild child notes with you. I have one of those. Joshua has been walking about a month and is a wild man! :)

Yea God for Skype! What a delight it was to see the 3 of you in your
hotel room together. We loved seeing Eliana's responses to her
silly Daddy dancing and singing just for her entertainment.

We are also praying for the sweet foster family who loved our sweet girl and took such good care of her. These days of transition must
be difficult for them.

We are lifting all of you up in prayer!

Consider Yourselves Hugged with Love,

I check your blog periodically and was glad to hear Eliana is doing well. You are one of the most positive and amazing families! Hang in there and enjoy every moment with your adorable Eliana! :-)

P.S. I once read the meaning of the name Eliana was "God has answered" I love that!

My goodness, she is SUCH a cutie!! Doesn't your heart just melt over those eyes?! I tell you what, it certainly makes for some difficult discipline when you begin to teach the word "no." When they look up at you with those beautiful dark eyes, and worse yet, grin, it is so hard to keep a straight face. I'm in the middle of those days right now. How can kiddos be so cute that you are completely disarmed?! :)

She's just so beautiful with her intense, inquisitive eyes! What a darling haircut, too! I'm so thankful she's feeling well enough to be a normal, busy-body, (almost) one-year-old, AND that you're able to be there to bond with her more fully!

Love you three!

I'm so glad that things are going well and that Eliana is doing better. We will continue to pray for you until you bring that sweet baby home (and even after).

BTW, Willow Grace has that same sleeper that Eliana is wearing, the green one with the pink lady bugs. It's one of my favorites!

Sorry about PGN. Good news Eliana is doing good. So happy you are there with her. Once you get settled, I would love to hear what you brought, what suggestions you took from everyone. I think I suggested the Phil and Ted's Traveller crib. Looks like you have it ? What about a highchair ? And, so happy you took our advice on the Ergo. We love it. I don't use it as much now that I am home but since you will be there awhile, it will be worth the money. Can you do me a favor ??? Can you ask any of the other mom's if by chance anyone has a picture of hospital roosevelt in guatemala. That is where Stella is born and I would love a picture of the hospital for her scrapbook. Thanks Courtney
P.S. Isn't Skype the best. We used it all the time while in Guatemala.

Sooo happy for all of you! Eliana looks great , she is so adorable. Praising God with you that your little sweetheart is doing well. Praying you are all home very very soon. The next PGN notice should be That You Are OUt!!!! Praising God Now, I love it! God's timing is always perfect just as it was with your carrier coming just in time, confirmation that He is in Control! He loves you all and your blog has been an inspiration to many. Maybe that is why it has taken the time it has with your adoption, so you can continue to praise Him in every way. As you so faithfully do.
Thank you for your posts,

I'm glad your little one is doing well now. She is so cute. We just got our almost 3 year old son home from Haiti, and he had some illnesses (never near death, praise God) while we were waiting and it was very hard. I am glad you are with your little girl and I pray you will be home with her soon.
