Baby girl.....

There is so much I want to tell you from today. Your daddy and I spent all day at Fellowship's Art festival!! It was an awesome day....the sky was a perfect blue. We saw tons of families from church with their kids all around us....and it made us miss you....I know, shocker! I got to spend time talking to some INCREDIBLE families that are adopting precious kiddos. I can't wait for you to meet Macy....she is so cute and tiny like you. Also, there is a little boy named Zion that will for sure be your fast friend. I spent time just enjoying the art work and dreaming about what it would be like next year. I can't wait to just walk up and down the halls with you on my hip. I carried two pictures of you everywhere I went today (because I am so proud of you). I loved Heather's reaction (Zion's mommy)....she just couldn't let go of the pics. She said you look just like daddy.....God is so cool!!! You are about to turn 10 months old. Yikes, I wish time would stand still until we could pick you up and bring you home. But, I am praying for you hourly baby girl. I miss you so much!!! I miss your laugh. I miss your little sassy looks. I miss your smell. I miss dressing you up. Basically, I miss you. You are my little angel.

Love you,
Mommy

Oh Lindsey,

I know the ache in your heart. Your sweet baby is going to be so blessed with you as her mommy.

I've heard hopeful things from PGN. As soon as they begin, they are supposed to push things through pretty quickly. I know it's not quickly enough for you, but hang in there.

Hugs to you,
Julie

Your daughter is beautiful! She'll be with you soon. To answer your question, we went to Guatemala right after we exited PGN. It was the BEST decision we made. Hard to be away from family, but so much better for bonding and her transition back to the states.

I am so feeling you right now! Rosa is 7 months old. She will be crawling by the time we see her again. I feel sick to my stomach when I thnk of the time I am missing with our girls. I try to think of the positive things, but they get overshadowed by the sadness.
We will see our girls in 5 1/2 weeks, but that is too long. I am making goals for myself of things I want to accomplish before we go just to help pass the time.
1) make lots of money at our yardsale to help bring them home
2) get their room going
3) get our home baby proofed...

I'm sure I'll think of some more things but that's a good start.

Missing my babies...
Love you two and little Eliana too, Melodie

Lindsey - Thanks for visiting my blog, I will certainly be following your journey to bring your daughter home.

I love your letters to Eliana. She will treasure them when she is older. After 3 adoptions in 31/2 years, I remember all to well the PGN wait. I pray that good news comes from PGN soon for all the waiting families.

I pray that God grants you strength, wisdom and grace during this time. Blessings, Anne

I am so sorry that you are with out your baby and that she is with out you. Most of us have either been there or are there right now so we understand the pain and frustration. Even when you know everything is in the Lord's hands and on his schedule, it still hurts and hurts A LOT so I am not going to say anything other than I will pray that the Lord will bring her home and ease the pain in your heart until then.

I lost the first 2 years of my son's life and the first 1.5 years of my daughters life and now that they are here it seems like they were with me from the day they were born.

Keeping you in our prayers
Hannah
